DAY 1

start : Raucourt-et-Flaba – Sedan

DEPARTURE : 9:30 a.m. Raucourt and Flaba (possibility of delaying the departure time on request)

Come to Raucourt and Flaba to give you your equipment and give you the latest information necessary for the smooth running of your stay. At the start of the cycle path, follow the Ennemane valley which quickly, flows into the Meuse. Then you arrive in Sedan. Take time to discover the old town and especially to visit the impressive medieval fortress that dominates the historic town. You will spend a memorable night in the castle grounds.

DAY 2

Sedan – Charleville-Mézières

Continue your trip on the greenway Trans' Ardennes, which has been part of Eurovelo 19 since 2019, the latest in the major European cycling routes. Want to pedal differently ? Discover the river in another way by renting a paddleboat, a water bike or a canoe. Rental possible in Sedan "CKPS" in front of the campsite or in Nouvion-sur-Meuse "À Fleurs d'Eau" along the greenway. (Opening according to season and weather, inquire beforehand).

DAY 3

Charleville-Mézières – Monthermé

If you haven't had the opportunity the day before, take the time to visit Charleville-Mézières, "Puppet Capital of the World" and birthplace of Arthur Rimbaud. Discover the fortifications of Mézières and the Renaissance heritage of Charleville . Come and stroll on the Place Ducale and enjoy one of the many Ardennes beers on the Mawhot barge (quai Charcot) or to the "Vert Bock" pub (17 rue Irénée Carré). Save some strength, to join Monthermé. You enter in the deep Ardennes and its legends. Follow in the footsteps of the 4 Aymon sons and take to the skies to contemplate the meander of the Meuse at Monthermé.

The Meuse is now becoming twisty and the scenery is breathtaking when the steep hillsides of the Ardennes rise majestically. Take the time to observe the fauna and flora along the river. Terr'Altitude is waiting for you in Fumay to fill up with thrills : treetop adventure park, catapult, bungee jumping, free jump… Discover the Meuse as ever before you have seen it by flying at more than 100km/hr thanks to Fantasticable, the zip line of more than one kilometer.

Haybes – Givet

Leave the tranquility of the Ardennes forest to find the Meuse. The land begins to flatten and you look like to belong here, in the Point of the Ardennes (finger of Givet), on the Belgian border. Take a few hours to discover the charming town of Givet, its old town, its restaurants, its shops, its Fort of Charlemont, or to hike the Mount d'Haurs … It is now time to reach the meeting point at Givet for the return.

ARRIVAL : 9:30 a.m. Montherme. Transfer from Givet to Raucourt and Flaba (1h30 drive)

No problem, you can enjoy the same benefits. However, a 40% supplement will be applied to the price of your stay.

You come with children ?

We make you enjoy a preferential rate to experience cycling tourism with your family. This rate is applicable only if the child is accompanied by two adult participants and sharing the same room.

The price includes the rental of a child bike or the rental of a trailer according to its age and size.

You come with your own bike ?

You can come with your own equipment. Please mention it when booking.

Our park is made up of CUBE brand adult mountain bikes. This german brand whose reputation for robustness is well established. The bike rental is included in the price, as well as the rental of the helmet, a safety vest, a lock and a repair kit (patches, bicycle pump).

The e-bikes are also CUBE, with a Bosch engine and a 500W battery to ensure complete autonomy throughout the day. Before the start, we give you a battery charger. So, you can each evening, at the stage, recharge your battery for the next day. Electric bikes are suitable for people over 1.55m.

Our company is very recent, our bike fleet is currently relatively small. We reserve the right to call on external service providers to best suit your needs, while offering the same range of services.

All are waterproof.
Before the start, we give you a rear bag of 20l per person which will allow you to board the necessary for the day (Picnic lunch, bottle of water, rain clothes, warm clothes). According to our availability, you can ask for an extra bag if you feel the need.
We give a front bag per crew , allowing you to use your smartphone in GPS guidance by being accessible directly on the handlebars.
In the case, where you would not have chosen "luggage transport», we give you back two bags of 20l per person to embark needed for your entire stay. To make the most of your stay and feel comfortable, we recommend not to use backpack.
If you chose the "luggage", we take care of transportation and you find your luggage every night to step (Due to a 20kg luggage per person max). To ensure the best possible transportation, we ask you to get off your luggage in the morning, at the hotel reception, 4 DAYS VAUBAN AND GONZAGUE. However, you can enjoy your room longer by respecting the start time of each hotel.
Before your start, we give you a roadbook detailing day per day the itinerary to follow and the points of interest. This roadbook is available in french or in english for a few trips.
When you pay the balance of your stay, we send you by email the GPX files of your itinerary. From home, you can save them in your smartphone and download an application to use these files (we recommend the free application "GPX Viewer"). Then, you can, during your stay, use your phone as a GPS, even if you don't have access to the network.

We have selected accommodation that best reflects the soul of the Ardennes, with the historic flagship of the department : le Château de Sedan, the pulsating heart of Charleville-Mèzières and the edge of the Meuse. During this trip, you will be accommodated in establishments rated 2 to 4 stars. A hearty breakfast is included in the price.

Regarding midday and evening meals, there are quite a few dining options along your route and at the stage in high season. However, we advise you to call to check that the restaurants are effectively open. You can also plan your picnic basket. You will find the necessary in the various shops of the stage cities. Some of your guests may also offer you a picnic basket. In that case, feel free to order them, upon your arrival, for lunch the next day. Before starting, remember to take with you one or more bottles of water and appetite suppressants (like cereal bars).
We check and recondition each bike before the trip. However, no cyclist is safe from damage. We guarantee you assistance 7 days a week in the event of a problem for us. Only in this case, assistance is included in the price.
In the case of a minor incident such as a cycle's chain coming off or a flat tire, we request you to make the repairs yourself . A repair kit will be provided before you leave. However, you can call for assistance, but in this case, it will be charged according to the number of kilometers travelled to reach you.
You can also use assistance if, during the stay, you prefer to change equipment and finish the route with an electric bike (subject to availability). You can also call us in the unlikely case, where you want to give up the experience. We then charge a supplement.

When you submitted your reservation request, we will send you a customized quote that best meet your expectations. We ask you to return the signed quotation by email or by post to acceptance.

This must be accompanied by payment of the deposit. Payment is made either by bank cheque (only french banks) or by bank transfer stating the quote number.

A deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay must be paid at the time of booking. The payment of the balance must reach us no later than 30 days before your departure. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, we request the payment of the entire stay.

If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before departure : payment of 30% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made 29 to 15 days before departure : payment of 50% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made 14 to 8 days before departure : payment of 75% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before departure : payment of 100% of the total amount of the stay.
