For two days, explore the steep paths in the Meuse and Semoy valley to discover the region's must-see attractions : La Roche au Corpias, Roc la Tour, the Rock at Seven o'clock, l’Hermitage, the Four Aymon Sons…
You will enjoy breathtaking views of this preserved nature in a Regional Natural Park. Be sure-footed because the path will take you to the crest line of the rocky spurs of the Quatre Fils Aymon. Prone to vertigo, s'abstenir !
PROCEDURE
DAY 1
Thilay – Monthermé

DEPARTURE : 9:30 a.m. Montherme (possibility of delaying the departure time on request)
The meeting point is located in Monthermé, where you will leave your vehicle. First check that you have a bottle of water in your backpack., your lunch and possibly your mobile phone on which you will have downloaded the GPX track that we will have sent to you beforehand. We give you your road book which will give you precise details of the route to follow and give you some explanations on the points of interest crossed on the way.. We then transport you to your starting point in Thilay.
It’s a magnificent stage which brings together in a single day some of the Ardennes hikers’ must-sees.. First after a great ascent, you will enjoy the Roche au Corpias viewpoint. A little after, you will come across the impressive Roc la Tour, which is a famous climbing site, and whose legend is told to you in your road book. Your path then continues in the heart of the Ardennes forest and leads you to La Roche à Sept Heures and its famous panorama of the Monthermé meander.. At the end of the day, after going through several other points of view, you go back down to the Meuse to find the hotel in front of which your car is parked.

For this second day, we offer you a loop around Monthermé. Between PR and GR, the route will take you through breathtaking landscapes. He will make you, among other things, discover the four legendary rocky spurs that we call here, the Four Aymon Sons. The path follows the ridge line. Be careful ! Some passages are very steep and quite technical. They can be a problem for people prone to vertigo. You have to be sure-footed, but the view is amazing.
Note that this circuit is a loop, and that people who do not feel confident enough on this difficult route can be offered another one upon simple request.. The replacement route will certainly not appear in the travel log., but the GPX track and a sheet of its track will be provided to you.
ARRIVAL : at your convenience, you find your car at the end of the stay.

No problem, you can enjoy the same benefits. However, a 40% supplement will be applied to the price of your stay.
You come with children ?
We make you benefit from a preferential rate to live the experience of hiking with your family. This rate is applicable only if the child is accompanied by two adult participants and sharing the same room.

– from 11 to 15 years old : -30%
However, the Randos de Pierrot stays are mainly aimed at people who regularly practice physical activity and particularly walking. The courses can be difficult at times and may be too demanding for the youngest.

We offer hiking trails to discover Ardennes over several days. These routes have been carefully prepared and recognized by us. You will enjoy unspoilt nature in the heart of the Ardennes forests and countryside.
Before starting, we give you a roadbook, and a GPS track to download directly on your smartphone. We offer you a stay in complete freedom, where you can recharge your batteries while remaining independent. We will have reserved accommodation for you for each of the stages.
Based on your needs, we can offer you the free loan of a backpack or hiking poles (subject to availability).
Our hosts will be happy to introduce you to Ardennes hospitality. During this trip, you will be accommodated in comfortable rooms in a 2-star hotel.
Our hosts will offer you a gourmet menu in the evening to help you discover the Ardennes gastronomy. They make a point of offering you authentic cuisine by working with local products.
The price includes a basic menu per person. However, you are free to prefer a more elaborate menu or choose à la carte. You can make the request directly to the restaurateur who will invoice you directly for the supplement.
We also advise you, if you wish it, to book with your host, a picnic basket for your lunch the next day, And this, as soon as you arrive at the stage in the evening. Be careful, this picnic is not included in the price of the stay.
L’option “baggage transport” is not justified for this stay. Indeed, at the start of your stay, you park your car in front of the hotel where you will be staying the same evening during the stage. You can either leave your luggage in the trunk of your car, or drop them off at the hotel at the start of your stay.
This does, we then transport you to your starting point.
In case of problem, I remain at your disposal 7 days a week to assist you, if necessary.
Upon receipt of your reservation request, we will send you a customized quote that best meet your expectations. We ask you to return the signed quotation by email or by post to acceptance.
This must be accompanied by payment of the deposit. Payment is made either by bank cheque (only french banks) or by bank transfer stating the quote number.
A deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay must be paid at the time of booking. The payment of the balance must reach us no later than 30 days before your departure. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, we request the payment of the entire stay.
If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before departure : payment of 30% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made 29 to 15 days before departure : payment of 50% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made 14 to 8 days before departure : payment of 75% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before departure : payment of 100% of the total amount of the stay.
