The Rando Trek des Légendes will take you to the beating heart of the Ardennes. You enter the territory of the Elves and the Pie-Pie-Van-Van (kind of sprites). Beware of their spells. Meet the "Dames de Meuse", the Four Aymon Sons, the Enchanter Maugis, the Lord of "Roc La Tour" or the Ghost of the Lady of the Linchamps Castle .
The Meuse and Semoy valleys will reveal their ancestral legends to you. Come and enjoy the most beautiful Ardennes landscapes between ridgelines and deep forest.
Be careful, you might fall in love with Ardennes !
PROCEDURE
DAY 1
Anchamps – Monthermé

Elevation : + 612 m
DEPARTURE : 9:30 a.m. Joigny-sur-Meuse (possibility of delaying the departure time on request)
The meeting point is in Joigny-sur-Meuse, where you will leave your vehicle. First check that you have a bottle of water in your backpack., your lunch and possibly your mobile phone on which you will have downloaded the GPX track that we will have sent to you beforehand. We give you your road book which will give you precise details of the route to follow and give you some explanations on the points of interest crossed on the way.. We then drive you to your starting point in Anchamps.
After a first ascent, you overlook the Meuse and discover the sad destiny of the Ladies of Meuse. Your path will take you to the heart of the Ardennes forest, allowing you to enjoy magnificent viewpoints.

DAY 2
Monthermé – Thilay

Elevation : + 755 m
This day is undoubtedly the most spectacular and will make you discover the essentials of the Ardennes hiker. Admire the famous meander of the Meuse on the heights of Monthermé at La Roche à Sept heures. Tremble while reading the legend of Roc la Tour which is also a famous climbing spot. At the end of the day, in the heart of this deep forest, discover the ruins of the castle of Linchamps.

DAY 3
Thilay – Joigny-sur-Meuse

For this final day, we offer you a route between PR and GR which will reveal breathtaking landscapes. He will make you, among other things, discover the four legendary rocky spurs that we call here, the Four Aymon Sons. The path follows the ridge line. Be careful ! Some passages are very steep and quite technical. They can be a problem for people prone to vertigo. You have to be sure-footed, but the view is amazing.
ARRIVAL : at your convenience, you find your car at the end of the stay.

No problem, you can enjoy the same benefits. However, a 40% supplement will be applied to the price of your stay.
You come with children ?
We make you benefit from a preferential rate to live the experience of hiking with your family. This rate is applicable only if the child is accompanied by two adult participants and sharing the same room.

However, the Randos de Pierrot stays are mainly aimed at people who regularly practice physical activity and particularly walking. The courses can be difficult at times and may be too demanding for the youngest.

We offer hiking trails to discover Ardennes over several days. These routes have been carefully prepared and recognized by us. You will enjoy unspoiled nature in the heart of the Ardennes forests and countryside.
Before starting, we give you a roadbook, and a GPS track to download directly on your smartphone. We offer you a stay in complete freedom, where you can recharge your batteries while remaining independent. We will have reserved accommodation for you for each of the stages. If you want to travel light, you can also choose the option “luggage transport”.
Based on your needs, we can offer you the free loan of a backpack or hiking poles (subject to availability).
Our hosts will be happy to introduce you to Ardennes hospitality. During this trip, you will be accommodated in comfortable guest rooms and 2-star hotels.
Our hosts will offer you a gourmet menu every evening to help you discover the Ardennes gastronomy. They make a point of offering you authentic cuisine by working with local products.
The price includes a basic menu per person. However, you are free to prefer a more elaborate menu or choose à la carte. You can make the request directly to the restaurateur who will invoice you directly for the supplement.
We also advise you, if you wish it, to book with your host, a picnic basket for your lunch the next day, And this, as soon as you arrive at the stage in the evening. Be careful, this picnic is not included in the price of the stay.
You want to travel light and carry only what is necessary for the day ? You have the possibility to choose the option “luggage transport”. This option is limited to a maximum of 20kg per person.
The price of this option applies to the entire group taking part in the stay.
To ensure the best possible transportation, we ask you to get off your luggage in the morning, at the hotel reception, 4 DAYS VAUBAN AND GONZAGUE.
In case of problem, I remain at your disposal 7 days a week to assist you, if necessary.
Upon receipt of your reservation request, we will send you a customized quote that best meet your expectations. We ask you to return the signed quotation by email or by post to acceptance.
This must be accompanied by payment of the deposit. Payment is made either by bank cheque (only french banks) or by bank transfer stating the quote number.
A deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay must be paid at the time of booking. The payment of the balance must reach us no later than 30 days before your departure. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, we request the payment of the entire stay.
If the cancellation is made more than 30 days before departure : payment of 30% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made 29 to 15 days before departure : payment of 50% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made 14 to 8 days before departure : payment of 75% of the total amount of the stay.
If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before departure : payment of 100% of the total amount of the stay.
